The daughter of a sculptor, Eleonora ‘Ellie McNamara', studied Modelmaking at DLIADT and went straight into the Film & TV industry in Ireland. She has worked on a range of productions in Ireland and the UK over the years including,‘'Into The Badlands 2/3'.''Dawn', 'Calvary’, ‘Asterix & Obelix', ‘Puffball’, ‘King Arthur’, 'Ella Enchanted', ''Leapyear', 'Haywire', Ondine', ‘The Golden Compass’ ,‘Byzantium’ ,Vikings 1/2/3/4’, ‘Penny Dreadful 1/2/3' and ‘Ripper Street 2/3/4’ Disenchanted, The Last Duel. She also works freelance as head of department Modelmaker and Sculptor for Tv and Film productions and providing complex pieces for event and museum installations- Epic Ireland CHQ, The National Museum of Ireland. She has had both national and international success as a visual artist and sculptor. Her most recent Bronze commission 'Fair day' is installed on permanent display in Rathdrum, Co Wicklow, Ellies passion for creative challenges never falters.
JOHN CORCORAN
Writer/Director and Content Creator
John is a creative storyteller who began his career working as a runner in the Windmill Studios, Dublin. He holds a B. Des & Comms, Hon. Dip. Comms (Film, Video & Scriptwriting) from the National Film College and has previously lectured in University College Dublin, Filmbase, Pulse College and Queens University. He is a member of the SDGI and a founding member of IFTA.
He has been working predominantly in the area of commercial and corporate production for clients such as ESB, HSE, Irish Life, Guinness +app; DPD to name a few, but, he has a number of broadcast projects on his slate such as: ‘Ear to the Ground’, ‘Holiday Quiz’ & ‘Primetime’. He picked up a GOLD Smurfit Journalism award for his work on the latter series and was invited back to act as Consultant/Producer for RTE TEN, RTE’s online channel aimed primarily at a youthful audience, (13 – 21).
He has directed several commercials for agencies such as McCann Erikson, DDFH & B, Ogilvy, Bloom and Focus Advertising; on a range of campaigns including the OTC From a corporate and promo perspective, he has produced work for public and private bodies like the ESB (Promo & Informational), HSE (Infant Mental Health Campaign) and TUSLA (Launch and Promo video material).
As well as the above, John has branched out into production for visitor and interpretive centres such as the Croke Pairc Museum, Guinness Storehouse and most recently EPIC Ireland that was just awarded the Best Visitor Experience in European, 2020/2021.Páirc an Chrócaigh Museum, Guinness Storehouse, Irish Whiskey Museum, Irish College Centre - Paris. He was the sole creative for Clare Tourism’s, ‘Live the Life’ promotional video that has been distributed to over a hundred regions and played at major tourism events.
His short films have screened at dozens of festivals around the world including London, Chicago, New York, Statesville, Warsaw, Cannes, Dublin, Cork and Galway and were well received by audience and jury alike leading to a number of awards including Best Script, (Canada Film Festival) and Best Cinematography (Largo FF). John’s vast experience of content production will ensure that the creative ambitions of the project are exceeded with all the attention and passion that he brings to his work.
