HORIZON LINE

Here is a peak at a job that we worked on in 2019- soon to be released. We replicated the interior of the plane for filming.
From the creators of 10 Cloverfield Lane and The Shallows, HORIZON LINE is a thrilling survival story about two former lovers, Sara (Allison Williams) and Jackson (Alexander Dreymon) who discover new altitudes of fear aboard a single-engine plane. It was supposed to be a routine and casual 99-minute flight to their friend’s tropical island wedding. But within minutes after takeoff, things get complicated– and there’s no going back. Here's the first look at #HorizonLine starring Allison Williams and Alexander Dreymon - coming soon. Cast: Allison Williams, Alexander Dreymon, and Keith David Director: Mikael Marcimain Writers: Josh Campbell & Matthew Stuecken Producer: Fredrik Wikström Nicastro

THE LAST DUEL Oct 2020

Every good job comes to an end. As we are in the final days of wrap from the The Last Duel we are finally getting a chance to reflect on a job well done! Well Done to all the modelmakers that joined our team and worked onsite at the different locations/studios/workshops. It certainly has been a phenomenal journey for us.  We are so delighted that the studio and production worked very hard to make going back to work a reality for all the crew. Well done to you for creating a safe working environment for all of us.

OUT NOW- SEA FEVER July 2020

Sea Fever is out now and well worth the watch. We worked on this back in late 2018. It was one of the most enjoyable productions to work on, a modelmakers dream! We were in charge of physical creature effects and models. Puppeteering tendrils and breathing life into our silicone sculptures creating a bioluminescence using controlled LEDs, fiber-optics and other special ingredients was the highlight of the job.  Lots of slime, goo, larvae and blood! WARNING-This is not for the faint hearted!! Stephen King gave it an A-.....

Covid-19 March 2020

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our clients, customers and contractors for their continued support and we hope that we will all be working together again soon.  Although our workshop is closed we are still here to plot, design, budget and plan for the next job. Karl is keeping the 3D printers active at home doing some voluntary printing of PPE as part of a nationwide group of makers doing their little bit to help.
We will continue to follow the latest public health advice and identify and implement suitable control measures to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 infection in the workplace.

Mini Gallery

Here is a little Gallery to give you a peek at the kind of work we do.  Unfortunately most things we make cant be shared/shown until after the film or sculpture has been unveiled  Keep an eye out-We have worked on some really interesting pieces in the last twelve months.
Sea creatures, weapons, prop costume pieces, a full size interior/exterior of a plane, parts of a space ship, shop interiors, huge event sculptures....and lots more. We have worked on some of our own stand alone pieces, but we have also facilitated many Artists, Architects and Designers to realise their Dimensional desires.

Coming Soon- Horizon Line

Here at All Shapes All Makes we are looking forward to the launch of Horizon Line.  This exciting film was shot here in Ireland, Mauritius and UK. This thriller is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. The job certainly kept us very busy, as we built, modelled and sculpted the set interior and exterior.  It was a technical challenge that we very much enjoyed.  Keep an eye out for this film this Autumn.

The team at All Shapes All Makes would like to take this opportunity to say how excited we are to hear that Sea Fever is in Post Production and is due for release this Autumn. This was a co-production between Fantastic Films (Ireland) and Bright Pictures (Sweden).
We looked after the modelmaking elements for this production......cant tell you the gory details until its launch later this year. But be prepared to be totally freaked. The crew were fantastic and we look forward to working with them again. Skål

EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum- ROYAL VISIT JULY 2018

We were all delighted here in All Shapes All Makes to hear that Harry and Meghan went to visit the Epic museum last week. We worked on several sculptural elements for the museum including the main ticket entrance, the introducing Ireland word sculpture, the leaving Ireland vessels, and much more. The sculptural elements stretch throughout the museum and vary in medium. From installations like the postcard chandeliers pictured below to the now well known center piece depicting the Leaving Ireland Vessels. Ellie was also delighted to be credited as the sculptor in the article, she insists that all the work carried out for this museum was 'a massive team effort', and says that ASAM and all its collaborators should be very proud of what they achieved.

Sculpture for Strandings Museum Thorsminde

Last week saw the re-opening of an impressive new museum on the western edge of Denmark. Eleonora Mc Namara of ASAM was commissioned to create and install the sculpture.  With technical support from Karl Connelly and the fine Carpentry skills of Philp Flynn, the piece was designed and fabricated in our Kilcoole workshop.  It is an interesting commission depicting the story a famous shipwreck off the coast of Juttland.
The Strandings Museum offers a unique insight into some of the famous shipwrecks that have befallen the treacherous conditions off the Jutland Coastline. One of its main exhibitions deals with the story of the HMS George and HMS Defense that sank off the coast in 1811, with the loss of 1400 lives.
A myriad of recovered objects are on display at the museum.
